Fractions
A fraction is a number between that represents one or more "pieces" of a whole number, object or other thing. For example if I cut one pizza into 2 pieces, I now have 2 "halves" of a pizza, each of them being 2 pieces of a whole pizza. If I instead divide the number 1 by 2, I now have 2 "halves" of 1, each of them being 1 half.
